Sutton Green Community Primary School has around 250 pupils and is housed in a modern building with extensive grounds. We have strong links with our parents, and have achieved the Family Partnership Award in summer 2013. Our commitment to a wider, inclusive curriculum is reflected in our Inclusion Quality Mark, Healthy Schools and Basic Skills accreditation. We believe happy children, and staff, achieve more together, and both should be inspired by a creative curriculum that reinforces key skills.
We work collaboratively in school teams, as our classes are organised into mixed KS1, lower junior upper junior classes. We have a strong commitment to CPD, and currently have a range of both experienced and younger staff, including NQTs. The school has a strong track record in developing the talents of staff at all stages of their career. An open learning culture encourages our staff to reflect on their practice and we work together to achieve the best outcomes we can for all our children and families.
